About England Tour of South Africa
South Africa won the first ODI match by 62 runs after setting the highest team total for the format in England. The second One-Day International was reduced to 29 overs each side because of rain, and England won by 118 runs. When South Africa was knocked out for 83 runs against England, it became the joint-lowest ODI total ever achieved by them. The third one-day international ended in a no result, leaving the series tied at 1-1, after just 27.4 overs of play. England won the first T20I by 41 runs, and their second-highest total in a T20I game was Moeen Ali’s fastest fifty for England in the format. South Africa triumphed by 58 runs in the second T20I, tying the match.
South Africa won the first Test by an innings and 12 runs, which was completed in three days. England tied the series with an innings and 85 runs in the second Test, which they won with one more test to play. Because of the weather, England’s first day of the last Test was canceled, and their second day of play was canceled out of respect for Queen Elizabeth II, who died at Balmoral Castle that day at the age of 96. Before the third day’s play, the national anthems were performed alongside a minute of silence and other tributes to the Queen. Black armbands were worn by all of the participating teams and match officials. England won the final Test by 9 wickets.
