JK ITI Admission 2024
The Directorate General of Employment & Training, Jammu Kashmir is providing education to the applicants in Jammu and Kashmir ITI Admission for the students in various polytechnic institutions of Jammu & Kashmir. There were a total of 21 Industrial Training Institutes & 2 Polytechnics in the State, now it has 53 ITI’s and 32 Polytechnics for the candidate.

About JK ITI
The creation of a unified body to oversee and manage the state’s technical and vocational training institutions led to the establishment of the Directorate of Skill Development in 1981. It was decided that integration was necessary to better coordinate the related training activities and make better use of the resources shared for the state’s overall training scenario development.
At the time the Directorate was established, the state had a total of 21 Industrial Training Institutes and two Polytechnics. As a result of the Department’s expansion and diversification, there are now 52 ITI and 32 Polytechnics. All of the State’s major townships are home to ITI, which provide more fundamental training, while all of the UT of J&K‘s district headquarters are home to polytechnics, which aim to produce middle-class technical personnel.
Jammu Kashmir ITI 2024 Counseling
A separate entrance exam is not administered by the official authorities to admit qualified applicants. On the other hand, official authorities will only accept qualified applicants from a merit list. Participants in the counseling session will be invited to participate in the Merit List of applicants based on their qualification scores. The Counseling Schedule should be reviewed by applicants if they are selected. For verification purposes, applicants are required to bring the necessary documentation to the Counseling Center. During the counseling session, seats will be allocated, and applicants are required to bring the required documents and pay the entrance fee to the designated college.

Candidate should be of Indian Nationality .
Educational Qualifications
Applicants must have Passed 8th, 10th, 12th examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board or its equivalent.
Age Limit
The students should have completed the age of 14 years on 1st August of the year in which information issued. There shall be no maximum age limit for ITI admission. For For mechanic cum business driver, lower age limit will be 18th years.

How to Check JK ITI Admission 2024 Online?
After meeting the JK ITI Admissions eligibility requirements, only the official website can be used to submit an application. Before filling out the application, candidates must first register, and then enter their Application Number and password. Pay the fee after completing the application form. The application must be printed and saved by the candidate for future reference. The online application for JK ITI 2024 can be found below.
- Logging to the official web portal jkdte.org, click on the Registration to ITI courses.
- Now click on the link Click Here to Apply, a new page appear on the screen, read the instructions before filling the request.
- After Choose the course, click on the Apply for Engineering, Non- Engineering.
- After clicking the link you will redirect to Applicants Application page, fill the entire academic, study, reservation & personal details.
- After successful saving the study details, the applicants will have to upload the Candidate Photograph , signature & click on the Save and Proceed to Next Step button. Once the application is save an request number will be generate, please note them for future reference.
- Again login to the official site, click online application for ITI Courses, after click on the link Applicant Login appearing as top menu bar.
- After new page appear on the screen enter Application number & Date of Birth and click Sign in.
