Invited to Apply for KALIA Scholarship

The Agriculture & FE Department is now accepting online applications for the KALIA Scholarship for the Academic Year 2022-2024. On December 31, 2022, GENERAL/ST/SC/OBC/SEBC/EBC eligible students must register and firmly submit a scholarship application. The program’s objective is to offer financial assistance to KALIA grantees’ children so they can enrol in professional or technical school in the state of Odisha. Children of actual cultivators (sharecroppers), small and marginal farmers (SF/MF), and landless agricultural households will all have better access to higher education as a result (LAH).

The KALIA scholarship will help SF/MF and LAH empower their families.
A KALIA scholarship will be offered to assist parents in giving their children a proper higher education. Implementation Of KALIA Scholarship

Implementation of the Kalia Scholarship started from the month of March and it will continue up to the month of April. The Kalia Scholarship is a financial aid program offered by the government of India to recognize and appreciate excellent academic achievement by students from economically weaker backgrounds. Eligible students need to have a rank not lower than 75th percentile of their respective school’s or cluster’s grade point average (GPA) for the academic year in which they are applying.

The Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment will execute the KALIA Scholarship.

Disbursement Of KALIA Scholarship

The department will post advertisements on its website and in local dailies to solicit applications.
No physical applications will be accept; students must apply online.
A copy of the application must be kept by the student for future reference.
Additionally, the student must assent to the following:
KALIA Yojana recipients who are parents
There are no other scholarships available to him or her.

Responsibilities Of Head Of The Institution

The department will give the institution’s head the user ID and password needed for online application verification.
The institution’s leader is accountable for ensuring the sincerity of pupils by reviewing all the information.
A high school diploma must be used to help the institution’s head confirm the parent’s identity.
The institution’s head must also confirm if a student is a day student or a hostess.
Making sure that the student is not receiving a scholarship through another programmer is the institution’s major responsibility.
