Khelo India Youth Games 2024
KIYG is the 5th edition of the Khelo India Youth games. Madhya Pradesh has take the responsibility of hosting the games. There are more than 6000 participants from all over India who participated in the 27th different sports events. KIYG programmes are introduced for reviving the sports culture in youth of the India.
In recent years there is a steady process in the sports meadow. Sport is an important component in developing nations & youth. The sport develops team soul, strategic and analytical thinking, leadership skills goal setting in the participants. A fit & healthy individual leads to an equally healthy society and nation. It is the time to inspire young talent and provide them with the best training in their sports that authorize the players to demonstrate their true potential.

About Khelo India Youth Games
Khelo India Youth Games, formerly known as the Khelo India School Games (KISG), are India’s annual national level multidisciplinary grassroot games that take place in January or February and are open to students between the ages of 17 and 21. For eight years, the best 1,000 children will receive a scholarship worth 5 lakh (US$6,300) each year to help them prepare for international sporting events. The first phase of the Training of Trainers (TOT) Program ran from December 2018 to January 2019. During the months of December and January, a total of 160 trainers will be trained in four batches of 40 each. All teachers, principals, vice-principals, and physical education trainers who are interested will be invited to participate in this TOT Program, which will be held every quarter or every two years.
The opening ceremony of the Khelo India School Games was held at the Indira Gandhi Arena on January 31, 2018, and it was based on the Guru–Shishya tradition. After the Indian Olympic Association joined earlier in September 2018, the Khelo India School Games were renamed the Khelo India Youth Games for the 2019 events. The Sports Minister, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, and the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, kicked off the second edition of the event at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi, Pune.
Khelo India Youth Games 2024 Venue
CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has decided to host these games in Bhopal, the provincial capital of Madhya Pradesh, according to information obtained from official sources. He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Union Sports Ministry for hosting the Khelo India Youth Games 2024 in Madhya Pradesh under the Khelo India Youth Games 2024 Venue.
