Kratika Sengar was born on 3 July 1986 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. She went to Methodist High School, Kanpur, and then shifted to Delhi and graduated in Mass Communication from Amity University, Noida. Then she shifted to Mumbai to further her career. Before flattering an actress, she functioned in an ad agency in Mumbai and for Hungama TV. Kratika Sengar weds Nikitin Dheer, son of artist Pankaj Dheer, on 3 September 2014 in an arranged marriage. The duo has a daughter.
Sengar’s tv launch came in 2007 with Star Plus’s family drama Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Saanchi/Sugandi. In the same year, she bagged the parallel key role of Prerna Gill in Star Plus’s programme Kasautii Zindagii Kay. In 2010, she described the key role of Rani Lakshmi Bai in Zee TV‘s historical drama Jhansi Ki Rani.
