About Meghalaya Board
Under the Meghalaya Board of School Education Act of 1973, the Meghalaya Board of School of Education (MBOSE) was established to oversee, control, and regulate matters pertaining to school education in the Indian state of Meghalaya. It was first created to oversee the SSLC Exam until North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) stopped offering the Pre-University degree in 1996.
