Miya George Bio Wiki – Gimi George, well known by her stage name Miya George, or more commonly Miya, is an Indian artists and model who mostly appears in Malayalam movies, together with a few Tamil movies. She began her career as an artists by portraying assisting roles in tv shows.
Miya created her film place by portraying short character in films like Oru Small Family (2010), Doctor Love (2011) and Ee Adutha Kaalathu (2012). She was shortlisted the Kerala Miss Fitness in 2012 and portrayed her 1st lead character the same year in the Malayalam film Chettayees.

Miya was born in Dombivli, Mumbai as a daughter to George Joseph and Mini George,In A Syro Malabar Catholic family where her father functioned as an engineer. Subsequently, at the age of 4, she shifted to Pala in Kottayam. She completed her schooling from Sacred Heart Girls High School, Bharananganam & St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Bharananganam. Miya did B.A. degree from Alphonsa College, Palai & her Masters in English Literature at St. Thomas College, Palai. She has one elder sister, Gini, who is wed to Lijo George and is settled in Bangalore. On 12 September 2020, Miya wed businessman Ashwin Philip at St. Mary’s Basilica Church, Ernakulam in a simple ceremony due to COVID-19 restrictions. They had a son in July 2021. Her father George Joseph died 2 months later on 21 September 2021.
