About NIOS
The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, founded the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), formerly known as the National Open School (NOS), as an autonomous organization in November 1989 in accordance with the National Policy on Education 1986. NIOS offers a variety of vocational, life-enrichment, and community-focused courses at the secondary and senior secondary levels in addition to general and academic courses.

NIOS Eligibility Condition
The National Institute of Open Schooling NIOS Vacancy Post Recruitment 2024 is accepting applications for 35 direct-hire positions as EDP Supervisors. More information is provided below.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university together with an accredited postgraduate certificate in computer application/hardware engineering, or its equivalent.
- 3 years of system development and programming experience in reputable large companies
Age Limit
The maximum age of the candidate is 37 years old. According to Government of India regulations, candidates from the reserved category are eligible for an age reduction, while NIOS D/W and contract employees are also eligible for an age reduction.
Scale of Pay
The Pay scale of selected candidates is Rs. 9,300-34,800 + G.P 4,200/- (PB-II).
NIOS Application Fee
Only bank draughts in the amount of the application will be accepted, and once costs have been paid, there will never be a refund. On the reverse of the demand draught, make payable to the National Institute of Open Schooling and make out to the Secretary. The Physically Handicapped category with a minimum of 40% impairment is exempt from payment, and candidates are urged to put their name, address, and the post they are applying for in capital letters.
