About NMMS Bihar
In May of 2008, the Centrally Sponsored “National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme” went live. The Ministry of Human Resource Development’s Department of School Education & Literacy is in charge of putting it into action. Scholarships will be given to deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in order to prevent them from dropping out of high school and encourage them to continue their education in secondary school. An award of Rs. Each year, selected students in classes from IX to XII at State Government, Government-aided, and local body schools receive a grant of Rs. 1000 per month or Rs. 12000 per year. Scholarships are limited to particular states and universities. Students whose combined parental income is less than Rs. The scholarships are open to those earning at least 1,50,000/-. According to state government regulations, there is a reservation.
An examination conducted by the state governments determines which students will receive scholarships. The State Bank of India directly deposits scholarships into students’ bank accounts every quarter. Students enrolled in “Kendriya Vidalayas” and “Jawahar Vavodaya Vidlayas” are ineligible for this scholarship program. In a similar vein, students enrolled in private schools and those attending state-run residential schools, where boarding, lodging, and education are provided, are ineligible for the scholarship offered by this program.

Bihar NMMS 2023 Exam Date
The official exam date for the Class 8 Bihar National Means Merit Scholarship 2023 Exam has been announced by the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Bihar. On January 22, 2023, it will be held offline at various examination centers across the state. Candidates who plan to take the test should be aware that the Mental Ability Test and Scholastic Aptitude Test will be given from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 01:00 a.m. to 02:00 p.m., respectively, and that each subject will take 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete.
Bihar NMMS 2023 Exam Pattern
From the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and Mental Ability Test, a total of 180 multiple-choice questions will be asked.
