About PAK vs NZ

With the most victories against New Zealand, Pakistan has the advantage in ODI head-to-head matches. These numbers indicate that Pakistan has a higher winning percentage against New Zealand, and their chances of winning the series will be greater. The teams have met in person on 107 occasions, with Pakistan winning 55 of those matches while New Zealand won 48.

They played their first ODI cricket match on February 11th, 1973, in Christchurch. Throughout the 1990s and the beginning of the 2000s, Pakistan held a significant advantage that lasted until 2003.But after 2004, New Zealand completely outperformed Pakistan in one-day international cricket, winning 24 matches to Pakistan’s 9 victories.

The majority of Pakistan’s runs come from their top two batters, but the team typically hasn’t been able to take advantage of powerplay constraints because of their cautious approach. The inability of the weak middle order to build on the solid foundation laid by the upper-order hitters has only served to make their problems worse. Therefore, Pakistan must work in this area to compete with New Zealand, a formidable rival. In the upcoming Pakistan vs. New Zealand One-Day International (ODI) series 2024 in April, it will be very exciting for both nations’ fans to watch them play each other.
