The Rajasthan Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme has been launch by the Government of Rajasthan. Through this scheme, vouchers for residential facilities will be made available to the reserve category students studying in the state’s reserve category (SC, ST, OBC, MBC and EWS) colleges. Through which if the student resides at the divisional headquarters, he will be provided financial assistance of ₹ 7000 per month and if the student resides at other district headquarters, ₹ 5000 per month. Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme for the academic session 2022-23, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Tikaram Julie launched the portal for submission of online applications by the department on Tuesday. Julie said that the students (boys) studying in the government colleges, all graduate and post-graduate (only for academic courses Arts, Science and Commerce faculty) run by the department at the district headquarters, who stay away from their homes and study at other places by renting a room, Rs 2000 per month will be given as recharge amount for facilities like accommodation, food and electricity water etc. to the students under Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme for a maximum period of 10 years.
The Social Justice and Empowerment Minister informed that the system of submission of online applications of the students has been implemented in the scheme. Interested beneficiaries can apply for details on the department’s website http://sje.rajasthan.gov.in. Application will be made through E-Mitra or SSO ID or through Jan Aadhaar card on portal SSO. sjms.rajasthan.in. After accepting the applications online, the prescribe amount will be paid through DBT in the bank account of the student.

DBT Voucher Scheme 5000 students will be provided benefits
Rajasthan Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme has been operated to provide residential facilities to the students. Through this scheme, students are provided ₹ 2000 per month for a maximum of 10 months. Students of SC, ST, OBC, MBC, EWS categories can get the benefit of this scheme. 5000 students will be benefitted through this scheme at the state level.
- To get the benefit of this scheme, it is mandatory for the student to study regularly in the undergraduate or postgraduate classes of the Government College in the academic level 2021-22.
- Apart from this, to get the benefit of this scheme, the annual income of the applicant’s family has been fixed at Rs 2.5 lakh for SC, ST, MBC students, Rs 3 lakh for OBC students and Rs 1 lakh for EWS students.

If the student’s guardian or parents have their own house available in the city or place where they are studying, then that student will not be given the benefit of this scheme. All the students can apply through E Mitra, SSO ID portal to get the benefits of Rajasthan Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme. The online application forms receive by the government college in which the student is studying will be scrutinise. After scrutiny, if the application is found correct, it will be sent to the sanctioning authority. By accepting the applications online by the officer, the amount of benefit will be paid directly to the beneficiary’s account through DBT.
