Robin Uthappa Wiki Biography:- Robin Venu Uthappa is a former Indian cricketer, who previous played for Kerala in domestic cricket and Chennai Super Kings in IPL. He has acted for team India in ODIs & T20Is.
Uthappa created his 1 Day International place in the 7th and final match of the English tour of India in April 2006. He had a successful place, creating 86 as an opening batsman before being dismissed run out. It was the highest score for an Indian debutant in a limited-overs match. He is nicknamed ‘The Walking Assassin’ for his tactic of charging down towards the bowler. Robin played a major character in India’s win at the 2007 ICC World Twenty20. He completed the 2014–15 Ranji Trophy season as the highest run scorer that season and was as well the highest run-scorer that year in the IPL. Robin Uthappa is an Indian International Cricket Player who was born on 11 November 1985 in Kodagu, Karnataka. He is a right-handed batsman and his bowling style is slight right-arm medium. Uthappa played for the Mumbai Indians in the 2008 Indian Premier League and had a clearly successful opening season. In his 1st match he scored 48 runs from 38 balls opposed to Royal Challengers Bangalore. In the following game, opposed to Chennai Super Kings, he created 43 (36) involving 6 fours and a 6. Opposed to Kolkata Knight Riders, he stitched an unbeaten 123-run partnership with Dwayne Bravo, where he scored a run-a-ball 37 to steer Mumbai to a simply win. Then he scored 34 off just 21 deliveries to lead Mumbai to an emphatic victory over the in-form Rajasthan Royals. Moreover, a quickfire 23-ball 46 from Uthappa went in vain after Delhi Daredevils clinched a 5-wicket win in a nail-biting completion.
In January 2009, he was swapped with Zaheer Khan & shifted to Royal Challengers Bangalore. He had a disappointing 2009 season of IPL for the Royal Challengers. His only notable innings came opposed to the Mumbai Indians in a match where he struck 66* off 42 balls to guide the RCB run-chase.
