Savitribai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana 2024
Jharkhand government has start Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana to connect the girls of its state with education. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 2500 will be given to beneficiary girls studying in 8th and 9th class and ₹ 5000 to those studying in 10th, 11th and 12th. Apart from this, a one-time grant of ₹ 20000 will also be given to the beneficiary girls after completing 18 years of age. Girls can use the one-time grant amount for their higher education or marriage.
Through this scheme, the girls of 27 lakh families and 10 lakh Antyodaya card holder families included under the SECC-2011 census of the state will be benefit. That is, in total, daughters of 37 lakh families will be able to get benefits through this scheme. Eligibility Criteria under the scheme
- The applicant girl child should be a native of Jharkhand.
- Only the girl child of families cover under SECC-2011 census and holding Antyodaya card is eligible to avail the benefits of this scheme.
- If the beneficiary girl gets married before the age of 18 years, then she will be declare ineligible to get the benefit of this scheme and she will not be given a lump sum amount of ₹ 20000.
- The applicant should have a bank account and it should be link to Aadhaar card.
