Shrenu Parikh was born on 11 November 1989 (age 33 years; as in 2022) in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. She finished his Bachelor of Pharma from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara. Her father is an Engineer & her mother Smita Parikh is a banker. Shrenu has a brother named Shubham Parikh. She completed her schooling from Navrachana Vidyani Vidyalaya, Vadodara and college studies from Navrachana Vidyani Vidyalaya, Vadodara.
Shrenu won a Miss University title in 2007 and was 2nd runner-up in Miss Vadodara’s title in 2008. In June 2018, throughout an Instagram post, she stated that she faced molestation at the age of six, on a local bus.

Parikh’s 1st television works was a cameo character in the show Zindgi Ka Har Rang…Gulaal in 2010. Shrenu secured her 1st television lead portrayal in the Colors TV show Havan in 2011. She then did major role in Byaah Hamari Bahoo Ka alongside Gaurav Khanna which ventilated on Sony TV. Talking about her experience in this series, she says “I learned voice modulation and working on body language. I have grown as an actress”.
Parikh worked in the StarPlus’s romantic drama Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? Ek Baar Phir (2013–2015) and was coupled alongside Avinash Sachdev, in which she played Aastha Agnihotri, a strong progressive woman who aims to drive toward change by fighting opposed to domestic violence to share identity to women in her family. Discussing her experience in this show, Parikh said that it was her turning point in her career since she was offered future portrayal because of her fame as Aastha.
