About UP Board
The Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar pradesh was set up in 1921 at Allahabad. The Board held its first examination in 1923. This Board is one of the Board in India which from the very begin, had acquire 12th system of examination. The first public examination after 10 years education is High School examination and after the 12th standard is Intermediate examination before from 1923 , University of Allahabad was the examining body of these 2 examination. At now the Board is conducting the examinations and make ready the marksheets of about 64 lakh candidates.
The board has decided to increase the level of the evaluation system and there marksheets, has established Regional offices of the board name as Meerut (1973), Varanasi (1978), Bareilly (1981) and Allahabad (1987). UP Board is one of the biggest education body in India. Approximately 70 lakh candidates sitted in High School and Intermediate Board exam of UP.
Uttar Pradesh state have 70 districts and board exam are held across all districts. The U P have only few secondary schools are being governed through the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Indian Council of School Education (ICSE), but mostly of the high schools have the recognition of the U.P Board, at now there are 1921 high and secondary schools recognized by the UP Board of High School and Intermediate Education. UP Board High School Passing Marks
