West Indies vs Australia Test Series:-Australia Cricket Board has set up their schedule to welcome West Indies in order to play test matches series in the upcoming month of November-December 2024. Both the teams management has confirmed & released the dates & venues of the test matches.
AUS vs WI Test series 2024 comes under the ICC World Test Championship 2021-2024 & all the 2 matches of the series will be conducted at two different locations , Perth and Adelaide. The series will commence with the 1st test which will be played from 30th November to 4th December 2024 at Perth Stadium, Perth & then both the squad will head over to Adelaide Oval, Adelaide for the last test which will run from Dec 8 to Dec12, 2024.

The Australian test team will enter the series under the leadership of Pat Cummins whereas Kraigg Brathwaite will take the responsibility of the WI under the guidance of coach Phil Simmons. Australian skipper Pat Cummins is a right arm fast bowler who has taken more than One-Hundred-Ninety-seven wickets, on the another hand, Brathwaite has made 4,743 runs as a batsman in his Test career of June 2024. In terms of ICC Test team ranking, Australia is at the First position while West Indies is at number 8th position.
Additionally, Australia also holds the top rank in the ICC World Test Championship’s point table currently, on the other side, WI is at number 6th position. The reason for being at the top for Australia is their top-class batsmen like Marnus Labuschagne & Steve Smith, who hold the top 2 positions in the ICC Test player ranking.
