Steps to Appply For WBPSC Sub Surveyor Recruitment 2026 @psc.wb.gov.in
Applying for the WBPSC Sub Surveyor exam can feel a bit like stumbling through a bureaucratic maze, but honestly, it’s not as soul-crushing as it looks. Let’s just rip the band-aid off and get it done:
- Head over to the portal: First things first, stumble your way onto the official WBPSC site at wb.gov.in. Look for the registration link for the 2026 exam—it’s usually buried somewhere obvious yet strangely hard to spot when you’re in a rush. Hit “New Registration.”
- Save your credentials: Punch in your basic info to generate an application number and password. Seriously, write these down somewhere safe immediately, because losing them is a special kind of panic you definitely don’t need in your life.
- Fill out the actual paperwork: Log back in using those freshly minted credentials. Now comes the tedious part—carefully dumping your entire academic history, personal life details, and exam center preferences into the boxes. Try not to zone out here; typos are a nightmare to fix later.
- The dreaded photo upload: Upload your passport-size photo and scanned signature. Why is getting these files down to the exact prescribed KB limit always an agonizing digital wrestling match? Just get it over with.
- Pay the toll: Fork over the Rs. 110 fee online (unless you fall under the exempt categories). It’s a small price to pay for a shot at the exam, even if online payment gateways love to freeze at the worst possible second.
