About Haryana Teacher’s Eligibility Test

In accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 23 of the RTE Act, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) vide Notification dated 23rd August, 2010 and 29th JULY, 2011 laid down the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for class I to VIII.

Haryana TET Admit Card 2023 Important Instructions

  • Candidates are advise to arrive at the testing location at least two and a half hours before the exam to allow enough time for the required metal detector screening, biometric data collection, and other formalities. One hour prior to the start of the exam, entry will be closed.
  • Use only a black ballpoint pen for giving answers on the OMR sheet. Candidates will be allowed to carry with them only the following items into the examination hall. 1st Centre copy of Colour Admit Card, 2nd Black ballpoint pen, 3rd Original Photo Identity as given during registration on Admit card.
  • Candidates without Colors Admit cards or Colour Admit cards having distort photographs shall not be allowed to appear in the examination.
  • A copy of the Colour Admit card will have to be submitted at the examination center with the same Colour photograph as uploaded at the time of registration duly attested by a gazette officer.
  • Candidates are not allowed to carry the following items inside the examination center under any circumstances: All ornaments like Rings, Earrings, Chain Necklace, Pendants, Badge and Brooch etc. Any metallic item, camera, Watch, calculator, mobile phone, pager, Bluetooth, Earphones, purse, log tables, health band, electronic gadgets with or without built-in-calculators, geometry / plastic pouch, blank or printed papers, written chits etc. Candidates must note that no arrangement will be made at the center for keeping any articles/items belonging to the candidates.
  • Women can wear Mangal Sutra, Bind & Sindoor. Baptized Sikh candidates are allowed to wear religious symbols.
