BARC Junior Research Fellowships Age Limit 2024
Applicants must be Indian citizens. Applicants must be under 28 years old on the application deadline. The age relaxation applies up to 3 years in the case of applicants from the Other Backward Groups (OBC-NCL) Non-Cream Classes, 5 years in the case of applicants from the Scheduled Classes and Scheduled Tribes, and 10 years for people with reference disabilities (PwBD).

BARC JRF Selection Process
- Applications will be review and applicants will be shortlist for interviews base on academic performance and national eligibility exam results. The recommendation/decision of the Selection Committee will be final and binding.
- A first selection will be made on the basis of the candidate’s academic background.
- A new preliminary selection of candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in the national selection exam (competency test).

Application fee 500/- (only Rs five hundred) payable at the time of online application. Subscription fee payment method is only through online mode using online banking/debit/credit card, UPI etc.
BARC JRF Salary 2024
The BARC JRF Jobs Notification 2024 initially select candidates will be retain as Junior Fellows (JRF) and will receive a scholarship of 31,000/- per month. The initial scholarship will be award for two years. Continue scholarship is subject to satisfactory performance and is review at the end of each year.
Upon satisfactory results, the duration of the fellowship will be further extend and upgrade to a Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) from the third year with a scholarship of 35,000/- per month (consolidation). The total term of the scholarship should in no case exceed five years. They are entitled to a contingency allowance that includes a book allowance of 40,000/- per year.
