- For fleet operators, the subsidy will only be granted for a maximum of 10 two-wheelers/4-wheelers and five e-buses/cargo vans.
- Electric vehicle buyers in a state other than UP will not be eligible for the subsidy.
- If electric vehicle buyers do not have batteries, they will only receive 50% of the total subsidy.
- Buyers will only receive the grant amount once during the validity period of this program which is 5 years from the date of notification i.e. from 14 October 2022 to 13 October 2027.

- To be eligible for the subsidy, individuals must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
