About FMGE
The Government of India established the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) in 1975 with the objective of improving the quality of the Medical Education by establishing high and uniform standards of postgraduate examinations in modern medicine on an all-India basis and utilizing existing infrastructure for capacity building. NBEMS at present conducts postgraduate and postdoctoral examinations in approved specialties leading to the award of Diplomate of National Board (DNB) and Doctorate of National Board (DrNB) respectively.
The Examinations conducted by NBEMS provide a common standard and mechanism of evaluation of minimum level of attainment of the knowledge and competencies of medical specialties. Moreover, intra country and international comparisons are facilitate with the availability of common evaluation mechanism. The nomenclature of the qualification awarded by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is “Diplomate of National Board” (DNB), “Doctorate of National Board” (DrNB) & “Fellow of National Board” (FNB). These qualifications award by NBEMS in various Broad Specialties, Super specialties and Sub-Specialties are approve by the Government of India and include in the First Schedule of IMC (repeal) Act 1956 / NMC Act 2019.

The FMGE Score Card 2024 NBE said that the result will be on its official website, natboard.edu.in or nbe.edu.in, so you can look it up. To check the result as soon as it is available, keep refreshing the page. From the NBE or NAT portal, competitors can view the MCI FMGE Result, NBE MCI Results 2024, scorecard, selection list, cut-off marks, and provisional list. To download the FMGE Score Card 2024 go to the NBE portal, natboard.edu.in, or nbe.edu.in. Competitors can download the FMGE Scorecard and marks memo along with the result. The competitors can determine whether or not they passed the exam. The provisional merit list will select a few candidates who meet the requirements for the FMGE exam and have high merit. Competitors can download the FMGE Provisional Merit List/Selection List June 2024 from the same portal. PDF versions of the selection list will be available. Those who achieved the required cutoff score for the exam can see their names on the selection list.
