G. Kishan Reddy Wiki:- G. Kishan Reddy is an Indian politician who is currently serving as the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Development of North Eastern Region of India.
He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) since 1980 and the president of the BJP in Telangana since 2023. He is also a Member of Parliament (MP) representing Secunderabad (Lok Sabha constituency) since 2019.

G. Kishan Reddy Bio
G. Kishan Reddy and Andalamma gave birth to G. Kishan Reddy on June 15, 1964 in a village called Timmapur in the district of Rangareddy, Telangana. He studied tool design at the Central Institute of Tool Engineering Balanagar, Hyderabad, Telangana and got a diploma. He has a wife named Kavya Reddy and two kids, a son and a daughter.
Political Career
G. Kishan Reddy joined the BJP in 1980 and became an active member of the party’s youth wing, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). He served as the president of the BJYM from 2002 to 2005. He was also the president of the BJP in Andhra Pradesh from 2010 to 2014.
G. Kishan contested and won the assembly elections from Himayatnagar constituency in 2004 and from Amberpet constituency in 2009 and 2014. He was the floor leader of the BJP in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 2009 and gave it up after being elected as the state BJP president of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh.
After the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh in 2014, he became the first state president of the BJP in Telangana. He was reappointed as the state BJP president in Telangana on 4 July 2023.

He contested and won the Lok Sabha elections from Secunderabad constituency in 2019, defeating the incumbent MP Bandaru Dattatreya. G. Kishan Reddy was appointed as the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs in Narendra Modi’s cabinet on 30 May 2019. He served in this position till 7 July 2021, when he was elevated as the Union Minister of Tourism, Culture and Development of North Eastern Region of India.
Achievements and Awards
G. Kishan Reddy has been involve in various social and cultural activities throughout his political career. He received the Best Child friendly Legislative Award by UNICEF for his efforts to promote child rights and welfare. He also received the Outstanding Youth Leadership Award by Mary Land India Business Round Table (MIBRT) and the Glory of Honour Title & Medal by the Union of Bulgarian Commandos for his leadership skills and achievements.
G. Kishan Reddy has organised several programmes showcasing the socio-culture and traditions of various states of India, such as Bharat Matha Maha Harati on Republic Day in 2018 and 2019. He has also visited several countries as a part of his official duties or as a member of various delegations. G. Kishan Reddy visited USA in 1994 as a member of five young political leaders group along with Narendra Modi on the invitation of American Council of Young Leaders (US Government).
