About NIP
The Indian Pathology Registry (IRP) was established in New Delhi, India in 1965 as a collection and dissemination center for pathology educational materials under the auspices of the Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR). The Registry was renamed the Institute of Pathology (IOP) in 1980 in recognition of its expanded scope and activities. Responding to the needs of the post-independence era with the emergence of many new medical schools, the IRP took the initiative with the original purpose of collecting, cataloging, reproducing and distributing a representative range of histopathology materials to several medical schools.
I grabbed Institutional, individual pathologists, and clinicians. In addition, through the Advisory Boards of various areas of pathology specialization, the Registry provided advisory boards and gradually established training centers for pathologists, technicians, and others. IRP has also played an important role in the standardization and dissemination of techniques for preserving and restoring the natural color of rough specimens.
