Ranveer Singh Wiki Biography:- Ranveer Singh Bhavnani is an Indian artist who appears in Hindi movies. The receiver of various awards, involving 5 Filmfare Awards, he is among the highest-paid Indian artist and has been presented in Forbes India‘s Celebrity 100 list since 2012.
After graduating from Indiana University Bloomington, Singh come back to India. There, following a short stint as a copywriter, Singh made his acting place in Yash Raj Films’ romantic comedy Band Baaja Baaraat, where he portrayed the major portrayal. The movie was as a critical and trading success, earning him a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. He obtained praise for playing a melancholic thief in the drama Lootera (2013), and accepted himself as a mainstream actor by his collaborations with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the 1st of which was Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela.

Ranveer Singh Bhavnani was born on 6 July 1985 into a Sindhi family in Bombay, Maharashtra, India (now Mumbai), to Anju and Jagjit Singh Bhavnani. His grandparents shifted to Bombay from Karachi, Sindh (in present-day Pakistan) during the Partition of India. He has an elder sister, Ritika Bhavnani. Singh is the paternal grandson of character-actress Chand Burke and is related to artist Anil Kapoor’s family through his wife Sunita Kapoor (née Bhavnani). Singh explains that he dropped his surname Bhavnani, since he realized that the name would have been “too long, too many syllables”, thus downplaying his brand as a “saleable commodity”.
Ranveer always desired to be an artist , joining in many school plays and debates. Moreover, after he enrolled H.R. College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai, Singh felt that getting a break in the movie industry was not simple. Feeling that the plan of acting was “too far-fetched”, Singh focused on creative writing. He went to the United States where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University. At the university, he decided to take acting classes and took up theatre as his minor.

Career
After completing graduation, Ranveer come back to Mumbai, where he used to work as a copywriter in different advertising agency.
