Dancing
He created his dance place on a Marathi reality show, Dance Maharashtra Dance, in 2012 at the age of 15 and was one of the finalists. Sumedh worked in Dance India Dance (Season 4) in 2013, where he reached the finals, completing as 3rd runner-up.
Acting
Mudgalkar created his acting premiere in Channel V’s Dil Dosti Dance, a dance-based youth show where he played the portrayal of Raghavendra “Raghav” Pratap Singh. Then he suit popular for playing the major antagonist Yuvraj Sushim in the Indian historical drama Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat.
Sumedh following shifted to the Marathi movie industry with a cameo in the 2016 film Ventilator as Karan. He then worked in Manjha, which was his 1st film as a major antagonist also as main artist, in which he played the portrayal of a psychopath named Vicky. In 2018, he portrayed the portrayal of Salil in Bucket List. Recently, he has as well been shooting for the Marathi film Mann Yedyagat Zaala.
Since 2018, he has been portraying the character of Lord Krishna, Lord Vishnu and Lord Rama in Swastik Productions’ television series RadhaKrishn which began on 1 October on Star Bharat alongside Mallika Singh. In 2018, he presented in the Marathi music video Bekhabar Kashi Tu alongside Sanskruti Balgude. Next, in 2021, he reprised his character of Lord Vishnu together with Mallika Singh and Basant Bhatt in RadhaKrishn’s prequel series Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki which as well ventilated on Star Bharat and ended in July 2022.
In 2022 he presented as Darkie in Disney+ Hotstar ‘s web series Escaype Live produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary under Swastik Productions.
