About UPTET
The Educator Qualification Test, known as TET, is the base capability expected in India for an individual to be qualified for an arrangement as an educator for Classes I to VIII. For teaching positions in Indian government schools, the test is required. In a similar vein, the UP Government introduced Super TET, a second qualifying exam that followed UPTET. India’s central and state governments both administer the TET. Most states lead their own TET.
The purpose of the test is to fulfill the requirements of the 2009 Right of Children to Free & Compulsory Education Act. The TET proof can be used at any time.
