About IIIT Delhi

The placement programme at IIIT Delhi seeks to provide a useful platform for interaction between students and companies so that they can look for the best match for their requirements and aspirations. The IIIT Delhi Training and Placement Cell arranges recruitment drives for students each year and provides training to assist them ace the technical and communicational parts of the interviews. The following provides information about the IIIT Delhi Placement process and statistics.

IIIT Delhi Placement Procedure

  • The IIIT Delhi placement office first extends invitations to various businesses or groups.
  • The organisation will then fill out the Joint Announcement Form (JAF), which includes information about the position and the date that they will be visiting the school.
  • The placement office assigns dates to various organisations based on the information they have provided. The organisation or business must then confirm the date provided to the placement bureau.
  • Then, on the scheduled date(s), employers visit the school and conduct aptitude tests, interviews, or presentations in accordance with their recruitment process.
  • Companies must deliver their final list of selected candidates on the day of the campus visit. The properly signed hard copy of this list is delivered to the placement cell.
  • If the company does not present the final list on the day of the campus visit, the students who participated in the placement process for the aforementioned company may participate in the placement drive held by other companies. The company whose findings are initially announced will decide on the final placement.
  • The offer letters are finally sent by the employers to the placement cell when a candidate is picked, who then gives them to the selected candidates.

College Infrastructure

Without a doubt, our college has a well-rounded infrastructure and facilities. Modern conveniences like smart boards, projectors, and audio systems are available in our classrooms, boosting the teaching and learning process. The surroundings are tidy and well-kept. Although the meal is hygienic, it could be better.

Academics

I am pursuing a Btech in CSAI since I have always been interested in computer science and the term AI. The curriculum is unquestionably current and among the best among the several engineering institutes in India.

Placements

With nearly 95% of students who seek for placements being placed, the quality of placements is rising every year. The institution is helpful in this area since it understands how important it is for a student.

Value for Money

I believe our college charges substantially higher tuition than the majority of other government institutions. However, the management and facilities offered show that our money is being used wisely. Therefore, even if the fees are higher than average, they are justified.

Campus Life

The college campus is kept up beautifully. It will be more accurate to claim that our campus is green. The sports ground and the sports block offer a variety of indoor and outdoor activities for students to participate in. The staff is excellent.

Others

Overall, the institute is excellent and offers all the amenities a student could ask for. However, as the academic workload is greater than in other engineering institutions, this programme is only for individuals who have a strong desire to learn.

The Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), located in Delhi, provides its students with a top-notch education as well as a vibrant environment. A redundant 10-gigabit fibre backbone network connects all of the dormitories, faculty buildings, administrative buildings, libraries, classrooms, and residences. To provide 1Gbps connectivity at the user end, all the blocks are connected via layer 2 and layer 3 switches.

Every dorm room has a dedicated LAN connection for 24-hour access to online resources. Additionally enabled are a wireless network with more than 200 access points throughout the faculty block, library, classroom, and dormitory blocks.
