- Proficiency from an accredited university in Hindi with English as a required or optional subject or as a means of testing at the level ;
- or Master’s degree from an accredited university in English with Hindi as a required or optional subject or as a means of proficiency testing ;
- or Master’s degree from an accredited university in a subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as required or elective subjects or to support a diploma exam ;
- or Master’s degree from an accredited university in a subject other than Hindi or English, with English and Hindi as required or optional subjects or as a means of examination at the diploma level ;
- or A master’s degree from an accredited university in a subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as required or optional subjects or either subject as means of examination and subject the other is a compulsory or optional subject at the level
- and a recognized degree or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or two years of work experience translating from Hindi to English and vice versa at a central or state government office states, including Indian government enterprises.
