MCA at BSAU FAQ’S

Is MCA available in Anna University?

At the Postgraduate level, Anna University offers a two-year full-time MCA programme. Anna University’s application process for the PG courses generally begins in the month of July.

Can we do MCA after BA?

The simple answer to this question is yes, you can pursue MCA after BA. However, there are a few things you have to consider before this. You will need to have a background in mathematics during 10+2. If you have not opted for maths in 10+2 then you will have to do some foundational course to make up for that.

How many years is the MCA course?

MCA is a three year (6 semester) course. The students entering MCA must have a B.C.A./B.Sc./ B.Com/B.A. degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or at graduation. Of the 6 semesters one semester is to be spent in an industry developing a software system.
