Physical Verification Of CMEGP Units

Modalities Of Online Process Flow Of Application And Fund Flow Under The Scheme

Bank Finance Under Chief Minister Employment Generation Programme

90% of the project cost in the case of the general category and 95% of the project cost in the case of the special category will be approved by the bank as a loan.
Depending on the project’s requirements, the loan will be disbursed either all at once or in phases.
The bank will provide working capital in the form of cash credit and capital expenditure financing in the form of term loans.
The bank may also provide a composite loan for the project, which combines working capital and capital expenditure.
Based on the project’s approved capital and working capital expenditures, the banks will demand the margin money.
The project’s working capital component may be used in a way that, at any one time throughout the three-year margin money lock-in period, reaches the full cash credit limit and uses at least 75% of the sanctioned maximum.
The bank or financial institution will recover the appropriate amount of the margin money and return it to the directorate of industries at the end of the year if it stays below the previously mentioned limit.
The bank will impose the standard prevailing rate of interest.
Following the initial moratorium, the payback schedule is three to seven years long, depending on what the bank or financial institution specifies.
The relevant Bank will release the necessary instructions to give projects under the scheme precedence when they are sanctioned.

Chief Minister Employment Generation Programme Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must be between the ages of 18 and 45.
There is a five-year special category relaxation available for women, ex-servicemen, SC/ST, and people with disabilities.
Candidates have to be Maharashtra citizens. Should the applicant’s birthplace be outside of Maharashtra, they must have a certificate of domicile.
There is no maximum income required to participate in this programme.
This programme is only available to sole proprietorships, partnerships, and self-help groups that are registered with the appropriate authority.
The applicant must meet minimum educational requirements for the seventh standard for project units with project costs between 10 lakh and 25 lakh, and the applicant must meet minimum educational requirements for the tenth standard for project units with project costs beyond 25 lakh. Additionally, the applicant needs to have the necessary abilities for the assigned project.
A family may only have one member eligible to receive benefits under this system.
Help will only be given for brand-new initiatives.
This programme is available to all registered self-help groups as well.
Units that have previously benefited from any government subsidy programme are ineligible to participate in this one.

Other Eligibility Conditions Under CMEGP

The cost of the project shouldn’t include the cost of the land.
Long-term lease or rental costs for a workshed, workshop, or gala may be included in the project cost, but only if they are determined proportionately on a pro rata basis over the course of three years.
One cycle of working capital and capital expenditures are included in the project cost.
Under the plan, projects that do not require capital investment cannot be financed.
Assistance under the programme is available to all newly established, profitable micro and small businesses, particularly those in rural areas.
A 20% reservation will be made for SC and ST applicants towards the overall annual target.
