Physical Verification Of CMEGP Units

Bank Finance Under Chief Minister Employment Generation Programme

  • 90% of the project cost in the case of the general category and 95% of the project cost in the case of the special category will be approved by the bank as a loan.
  • Depending on the project’s requirements, the loan will be disbursed either all at once or in phases.
  • The bank will provide working capital in the form of cash credit and capital expenditure financing in the form of term loans.
  • The bank may also provide a composite loan for the project, which combines working capital and capital expenditure.
  • Based on the project’s approved capital and working capital expenditures, the banks will demand the margin money.
  • The project’s working capital component may be used in a way that, at any one time throughout the three-year margin money lock-in period, reaches the full cash credit limit and uses at least 75% of the sanctioned maximum.
  • The bank or financial institution will recover the appropriate amount of the margin money and return it to the directorate of industries at the end of the year if it stays below the previously mentioned limit.
  • The bank will impose the standard prevailing rate of interest.
  • Following the initial moratorium, the payback schedule is three to seven years long, depending on what the bank or financial institution specifies.
